Outstanding teacher! Nick is very lively, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. By far one of the best teachers at Grant MacEwan. I would recommend Nick to anyone taking a computing science course at any level (intro or senior).

Awesome Prof. Voice really projects and is clear. Having the 3:30-5 class was awesome too. He'd always mention how it would be happy hour after, and in some examples related to programming and money, he would say "save your money for beer!" haha, probably the best prof I've ever had, aside from my major. If you go to class you will do very well!

Don't mistake Nick's easygoing nature for aloofness - he works hard to make sure everybody knows their stuff. There's a reason why there isn't a single negative review of him on this site - put down what you're doing and take a class of his. NOW. (If you're taking CMPT 229 from him, don't buy the Patt & Patel textbook - we hardly ever used it.)

He's a really great prof. He managed to teach me! I really had no aptitude for computing but he really helped me to understand the material. He used a very clear powerpoint presentation and it was well organized. He's very funny and jovial. I recommend taking any class by him.

K, I hate computers with a fiery passion. And im quite sure if it wasnt for a prof like Nick, I wouldnt have made it through C++. He cares about his students and has no problem going over topics again and again till you understand it. His tests are fair and represent the material covered quite well. If you can, make sure you take his class.

AWESOME PROF. C++ was a breeze with this guy. Pay attention to Nick and he will get you through the course. I recommend having a personal laptop during his lecture so you can follow along. He is extremely helpful in explaining how to do labs too. Exams aren't too easy, but that's the fault of the curriculum. Follow along in class and you'll be ok.
