Grades are midterm, final, 3 papers, and some home works thrown in for easy As. A few extra credits. She is very enthusiastic, but her study guides are more helpful than her lectures. You can definitely use your electronics in class! I never read the textbook but it helped most people.

I took Intro to Public Health online. Lots and lots of reading per week--I didn't have time to read the chapters, so I made sure I did well on the written assignments. 3 papers worth 15% each, midterm and final each worth 15%--fairly tough but without reading per week and using midterm, got high 80s on tests. Pretty easy grader. Got an A overall.

Somebody please let this prof. know she teaches an INTRO course. So much reading, long video each week, many writing assignments, and a 12 page study guide for the midterm. My 400 level courses don't have me reading 4 chapters a week. Tough grader on discussion posts, yet makes constant typos. Don't take if looking for an easy gen-ed

I did the online Community Health and Environment Class. She was very kind and helpful. There was about one written assignment a week but not hard just involved. Discussion posts are required about once a week. You are required to volunteer for community service for a two page final paper, it was easy. It was overall a good class.

I didn't like how she taught the class but I can't really argue with her grading. Getting and A is pretty easy since you can rewrite essays pretty much indefinitely. She just spits random statistics and news articles during class so you don't learn really. She gives a study guide which is the only way you'll know what's on the tests.
