Nicole is an amazing lab instructor. I've had her for a few other courses as well, and every single time she has been super helpful and very approachable. If you don't understand anything, you can always go to her during office hours and she makes sure that your doubts are taken care of. Definitely take a lab/course with her if she's teaching it.

She's a bit kooky and as socially awkward as you'd expect a computer nerd to be, but her tutorials are nonetheless great. Very accessible if you need help, and you know exactly what you did wrong when your assignments are graded.

She is by far my favourite professor. She is very funny and charming not to mention a super gamer who likes to have nerdy discussions with the students in her class. She is very helpful in explaining concepts. She often tells funny stories to lighten the mood, and has never gotten upset over anything. You can tell she really loves what she does.

Bit awkward, quirky personality but nice enough. frequently makes mistakes in tutorials' notes. See little point in going to labs if they're going to be corrected later on, but thankful they are corrected. Approachable and helpful in general.

I wish I could have partied with Nicole back in the day. For a computer science math chick, shes a pretty awesome lady. She loves to teach and empower students, however I think that maybe she goes a little under appreciated. Well cheers to you Nicole for a great semester. Even if I didn't need the help I still attended ur tutorials.

Nicole was very unorganized in regards to lab material. Her grammar on assignment questions drastically reduced clarity on assignments, and on several occasions she had to make revisions to assignments within 2 days of it being due. She knows her stuff, but was an ineffective lab instructor

I had Nicole for my Stats Labs. She is a ton of fun. Super outgoing and quirky. She outlines her lessons well and keeps class organized. Shes really good about covering all of the material that appears on assignments. She also posts the notes and examples online after.

Labs were almost useless attending with Nicole. Her use of an Ipad via overhead was distracting and ineffective. Wasted time with off topic irrelevant comments and jokes. Missed several labs over the semester. She created the midterm & final as well as the study guides.Tests looked NOTHING like the study guides. Nice person, ineffective lab prof.

I had her for my lab/tutorial classes. She's not overly interesting for tutorial but she does actually know her stuff. I was interested to find out she was a COBOL programmer too. Loves chatting about dragon age and is always an interesting one to talk to.

Great Aid in teaching CPSC, Fun comp sci humor in class labs and tutorials, explains concepts well, always advailable for help at office hours, and sometimes outside of office hours. Made things easy to understand. Pay attention to her and what she is saying and your grade will get that much better by doing what she teaching you.

I think I agree with the last comment. Also if you look at the comp sci department..all these assistants are very old and they don't want to change and play lots of politics(except Rex) at 1000 or 2000 level courses. My advice is... don't get in arguments with them as the upper level management has no control on them and they can ruin your grades.

Nicole is a great instructor. I would recommend taking Math 1410 with her for sure! She really knows her stuff and is always willing to help you if you don't get it.
