Makes world history great again - Love this professor, she makes world history interactive, and takes a lot of events and makes you see how they are all connected to one another. Amazing professor, approachable and very kind, love her and would definitely take her again if presented with the choice.

Fair grader and easily approachable. Lecture heavy (so have to attend classes because lectures help with the tests), so make sure to do the readings and keep up with them. Only extra credit is to attend SI session (kinda sucks that's the only extra credit). Recently added reading check online quizzes.

Professor Shepardson is one of the best professors I have ever had. I had her for HIS 150, as well as HIS 151 as well. Very enthusiastic and it is easy to see how much she loves teaching. READ READ READ. Readings can be a lot but so important!! Be ready to work, but this class is 100% worth it. Learned more than ever before about history!

She's a great professor, really enthusiastic when she teaches, always ready to answer questions. The class is not completely easy, she does make you work for it but it is worth it in the end. Breaks down the information for you and helps you to love world history. If you need to take your history class, take it with her!

Way too much work for a 200 level course. 3 pointless papers, that require you to read 3 BOOKS IN ORDER TO DO THEM. Makes you buy her husbands version of a text, required the class to have an NY Times subscription that is frustrating trying to cancel. Not to mention lectures were boring and she talks to you like you're in high school. Do not take.

Nikki Shepardson is easily the best teacher I've ever had. Her love and passion for history is infectious and many in my class who previously had no interest in history really enjoyed taking her class. Her tests can be challenging and involve lots of studying but she gives you all the possible questions on midterm and exam ahead of time plus extra.

She is amazing teacher. She is one of the best professors. Go to the SI sessions! She doubles your participation grade when you attend 8 or more SI sessions. I took both HIS 150 and 151, her classes fills up quickly so sign up fast! SI sessions really help you understand her classes. Read book chapter by chapter to understand the terms and class.

Professor Shepardson is the best. I HATE history and somehow she managed to make me enjoy coming to the class 3 times a week for a whole year. (I took history 150 and 151). She is upbeat and passionate about her job and that makes learning the material much easier. I would recommend her to anyone!!

Excellent professor, although the amount of readings there were was ridiculous and added almost nothing to the course. She is pretty challenging, but if you put in an effort you will be ok.

Excellent teacher. One of the best professors I have had so far. Tests are moderately difficult, but if you attend the Supplemental Instructor then the tests should feel easy. It really helps A LOT. Definitely should read the textbook to stay on top of course material. Definitely attend class because there is A LOT of information that is covered.

This class has to be one of the worst that i've ever had to sit through. her powerpoint slides made no sense and she should have really urged the use of textbook more instead of blowing up on us if someone forgot to do the reading. i like her as a person but definitely NOT as a professor. tests were ridiculously hard for a course this at this level

Extremely difficult class especially for a course that has nothing to do with your major. She is an extremely sweet lady but prepare to have difficulty and put hours upon hours in on studying. The exams are the hardest I've ever had at Rider

Great teacher who is willing to help in any way she can. Not an easy class, requires you to read every night and put in work. If you put in the work, will get an A no problem. She is clear and willing to answer any questions or simply talk further into the subject. Overall a great professor!
