Comment:

Nina Evarkiou was one of the more influential professors I had in my academic career. Although I had her in 1997, her instruction made a lasting impression on me. I developed a new appreciation for European Art and Humanities and I strongly recommend taking her classes.

I TOOK HER CLASS OVER THE SUMMER AND I DID PRETTY WELL. I THOUGHT I DID WORSE BUT WHEN I GOT MY GRADE I THOUGHT OKAY NOT BAD... SHOW UP BE ENGAGED AND YOU WILL DO FINE. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE MUSIC PORTION SHE LOVES MUSIC AND EVEN HAD HER KIDS COME IN TO PLAY SOME.

Comment:

Her lectures are entertaining although she runs into tangents a lot of the time. She expects you to do a "reflection" every week, which helps to keep you on track with your readings. Her 10 pg final was a bit daunting although with her help it's "doable". I would not hesitate to take her class again, it was quite enjoyable.

In contrast to the others opinion, I think she's a great teacher. You have to do your part as a student, but I recommend this teacher to everyone. Very nice and also helpful.

I hated this class!! i hated the fact thatt shed break into family photos of her trip to greece. everytime she opened her mouth it was to say she was greek or to say how great women are, i agree women are great, but i didnt pay to hear that every 10 minutes. i would not take this class if i were you

She's a really nice teacher and she knows her stuff. If you're looking for an easy A just because it's a hum. class, don't take her. She's not hard but you have to turn in essays weekly and she has a 10 pg. in class final. She's also an engl. teacher so she expects work to be at college level. Overall, she's okay as long as you do your work.

Her class is confusing, based solely on the book. Her lectures are all over the place, you never really know what you are supposed to be learning. Her hair annoys me. You will learn alot about Greece - because she is Greek - go figure.

I dont know what to say.. she wasnt a great teacher for me. Her lectures are not organized in any way.. they are long... and boring if you do not care to know the subject. Her tests are demanding of your ability to memorize, as well as your ability to derive information from a book.

no one in my class knew what the homework was, and she was one of the worst people to possibly have for an english class. I looked her up in this thing and she was hidinng in humanities. I had her for english. If you care about your education, you won't take her class

Excellent professor. Very thorough. Very clear. Inspirational. Take her and learn very interesting aspects of ancient life.
