Show up to class and get an A. I took intl. terrorism and count terrorism with her last semester. She gives a comprehensive study guide for each exam (midterm and final) which is basically the exam itself. There are a good amount of papers, about one due every two weeks, but they are easy can be done in an hour or less. Never got below an A.

TAKE HER. Yes the lectures are boring at first but then she starts to show videos like every class. She doesn't let you take notes because she just wants you to listen. She will give you the answers to all of the papers and tests. Never got below a 100 on a paper that I wrote in about 20 min bsing. She wants everyone to pass. Didn't have to try

Intelligent woman, a bit crazy though funny. Very animated. Extremely easy course. Only way you will not get an A is if you miss more than 3 classes, or don't turn in an assignment. You will leave the class having learned something new (without doing much work). Do not take this class if you "love a challenge." Take if you need a break in your day.

IF you can sit through long lectures which mash your brain, and opinionated information passed as fact, then endure this class for the grade. She is a nice lady, but her lecture style is definitely one that leaves much to be desired.

She's hilarious and easy. Take her. Just do it. You don't need to buy the book and you can write the papers with your eyes closed and still get a 100%. Her exams are literally the review guide and she plays videos like every class. Everyone needs at least one pointless class in college and this is the way to go. I LOVED HER SO MUCH.

Incredibly off topic when in lecture, TerrorismCounterterrorism turned into "Intro on ISIS" within 2 weeks. Have learned absolutely nothing. Be prepared to not learn anything off the syllabus, as our midterm had nothing to do with what was covered in class.

LOVE HER! Take all of her classes that you can...she's not very clear but she basically tells you what's on the test and the papers are super easy. Its impossible to not get an A unless you never show up. She's opinionated but knows what she's talking about. LOVED THIS CLASS! TAKE IT!

I really liked this class... She is definitely not the best professor ive ever met however her class was interesting and entertaining... Watched a lot of videos... Midterm and final are the same two exams... I didnt even read one page from the text book.. So dont even buy it... Got an easy A in that class! Hint: Talk to her after every class!!!

she is really nice and a very sweet woman. so scatterbrained but its entertaining.. dont take the class discussions too seriously just be entertained.. she will single you out so be excited.. the tests are the study guide.

I walked into class on the first day and she showed a video that seemed somewhat entertaining. We than had a discussion period which was awful for a POSC upper level class. She jumps around, doesnt answer questions and seems to not hold a conversation very well. Dont take her class unless you think its the moral obligation of the US to help all.

Two short stories about this woman. One, she gave a "study guide" to help out with the final. Great, except that it was the same exact test as the mid-term. Was it a mistake, nope went to the final and it was the mid term. Not one single word was changed. Second, she assigned her own textbook for class, and didn't use it once. Stay far away.

She is a really fun teacher who's completely off the wall, but she compensates for this with a lot of leniency. Some people hate the course because she's a scatterbrain (and in my experience have no sense of fun) but you will somehow walk away from this class with a ton of knowledge despite it requiring absolutely no (forced) effort

Apart from the choice of reading the class was horrid - we had the same lecture almost everyday and she picks on students - best bet is to be quiet and stay in the back so she doesn't notice you and to memorise the sample exams b/c she re-uses the same questions in a different order on the real ones. Grades very leniently.

I highly recommmend taking any course with Nachmias. You may think youre doing bad, and you may think she is crazy, but all you have to do is be nice to her and she'll give you a good grade. Act like you care, show up for class, and you will do just fine. Grades dont matter if she likes you!
