Comment:

Mrs. Rodrigues, is a kind person and interesting instructor. But, teaching that she provides is very confusing. And it seems that her opinions about the community and lifestyle, is bias. Yet, the pop quizzes that she administers are either not part of the subjects that is being studied or are partial from textbook and reality.

Comment:

Very easy and informative class. It needs to be stated that she has liberal views, and, especially conservatives, may find her views offensive, but I thought she did amazing. She told the students what it was and was clear with her class. At times she may have been overdramatic, but nonetheless, a great class that will give you an easy A.

Noelie is a sweet woman but a very biased professor. I took a sociology class with her in the year of a presidential election and her liberal views were forced upon us and we were told how horrible conservatives were. I would have rather been in a class that taught each side equally and let me choose. Easy A but super annoying "teaching" strategy.

Class is easy but a bit unfair because she puts things on the quiz that was not in what she told us to read. She talks about subjects non related to class, does not base her opinions on facts but rather feelings. Does not accept facts when proven wrong. She demonizes certain groups of people . She is nice though. But does not use updated resources

Noelie is very passionate in what she teaches. I've never cared about politics until I took her class. She informs you of what the media doesn't. You learn about the poor getting poorer while the rich get richer. I recommend her class.

I took this class a few years back from Noele and I missed a lot of classes, so later in the term she really helped me out to still pass the class. Most of our time was spent going over the circle of power with the UN - World Bank - Multinational Corporations etc. She is a bit of a Socialist and I disagree with her, but she does make you think!

An amazing person and teacher. Really heavy on politics and brainwashing by the media and current administration. She uses Michael Moore's "Dude where's my country" as a text book, so basically if you like bush- be ready to be challenged and keep your mind open.
