Very nice, friendly man. Horrible professor. Homework is a complete waste of time and usually the exact same each week, he doesn't even grade it right (just underlines random words and gives you credit). Lectures are dry and boring, and makes a tremendous waste of paper every class. I can say without a doubt that I have learned practically nothing.

Perhaps something has changed in the past 4 years since someone rated him, but this class was extremely boring, and completely useless, im more than likely going to get an A in the class but every week was a complete waste of three hours

This professor was truly kind and a genuine, all-around nice person. The only complaint I have about the class were the very time-consuming and ineffective homework assignments.

Pretty easy class. Lots of homework, but it goes by quickly. Only problem is the midterm and final are based largely on handouts and textbook, which are rarely if ever used in class. Prof makes the lectures go by quickly though

Guy is a pleasure to have. 3 hours breeze by. Guest speaker every week, little bit of group stuff afterwards. Amazingly nice guy. Easy A if you do the work and show up. Midterm & Final are long and written out, but relatively easy.

Ver cool guy. He knows what he is doing, and gets the points across well. He gives a lot of work, but it's pretty easy, and doesn't take all that long. The only downside is his tests. They are extremely hard, especially if you don't study everything from class, including handouts and the textbook. Overall, a good class, well worth taking.

Norm is one of the best professors at SBU. He cares about his classes and shows it with his teaching style. Norm will go out of his way to mentor you. He knows everyone in the world, barely exaggerating,he is the top of the social networking food chain. For media students he is a must know!

professor prusslin is a great teacher. he is well rounded in his teaching capabilities. I enjoyed the class even though it was one long lecture a week. three hours is not bad when he keeps you interested.

Very nice guy, always around if you need help. The only problem I would have with him is that his exams are way too long and it's about 75 questions that are short answer. The exam isnt difficult if you study, but still, it's just a lot of writing.

I have never met a teacher who genuinely cares about his students as much as he does. It is easy to talk to him about things in and out of class. He really helps you in his class and the media class taught by other professors. He has no problem letting you into his class even if its full if you are really interested.

Norm is the best guy on earth. The only problem is his voice is so pleasant that a three hour seminar is a struggle to try not to be lulled to sleep. His help for the media wing is really handson, he is a mentor without compare.

His classes can be somewhat easy to get through, but if you engage yourself in them, he'll teach you all he knows...which is immense.

He's an awesome prof and a great guy in general. His class is very interesting, didnt even feel like 3 hrs long and he brought in some really cool guest speakers. Only problem I have with him are his super long tests. There's about 80Qs and it's all writing, no MC. Your hand will cramp up by Q30.
