Comment:

Easily one of, if not the, best classes I've ever taken. Tests and quizzes have no surprises and his lectures directly relate to them. But even without that, his lectures are so interesting and insightful you want to remember them even if you weren't worried about grades.

Amazing class with an amazing professor! Very helpful. Not hard because he tells you everything you need to know. Fair grading. I looked forward to class even though it was at 9 in the morning! I will be very sad when I am not in this class next quarter. I'm pretty sure he knows everything.

This class was by far the most interesting class I have taken at OU. He makes every class so entertaining and he is so enthusiastic about the topic. He really is an amazing professor. To do well in the class just make sure you go to all his lectures and read. Study for his quizzes and pre-write the essays for his mid-term and final.

Oh man,what can I say about GODA? He's the greatest professorI've ever had, period.I broke down in tears on more than one ocassion because of his stories.He's one of the leading Nazi historians and my mom records him on the History channel every chance she gets. Take it,it's not harder than any other history class, but he's brilliant. I'll miss him

Very interesting subject. Goda knows his stuff. He is one of the leading scholars on Hitler and Nazi Germany in the WORLD! Very engaging in lecture. Stories are interesting. Powerpoints used as an outline, not as a word-for-word reading lecture. I have never regretted a Goda class.

Very fascinating course. Goda is an amazing prof. Beyond expert on the subject! Study your butt off...do the reading, take down every word he says, organize organize organize! Best class I've had at OU and also the hardest. KNOW THE MATERIAL!! Study every minute you get as if you had a test the next day. Hard but a great, fascinating class.

Definitely my favorite professor thus far. A lot of the material in the class is stuff we've learned about so much in the past (Amer. & French Revolutions, Holocaust, etc.) but he presents it in a new and interesting way. Lots of reading and studying, but I definitely enjoyed going to class every day.

He really know's his stuff. Very good on details with his power points always willing to answer questions it is not hard to attended his classes b/c he isn't boring. lectures 3 days and diss. you take a quiz, quzies are hard at all as long as you keep up with the notes and simi with the reading. SHOULD REALLY take class! Absolutly Great guy!

Comment:

One of the leading experts on Nazi Germany in the world, so he obviously really knows his stuff. Lectures are clear and organized, never boring. The only problem was that his TAs were jerks and really ruined the class, for me personally. It's not an easy class but you'll definitely learn a lot and it's more interesting than most history classes.

This is the second class I have taken with Goda and I loved this one just as much as the first! He is a great lecturer and really knows how to captivate your interest. Actually looked forward to going to class and hated missing it. Alot covered in each class. Difficult but fair tests and papers.

GREAT prof. Interesting lecturer, gives very clear powerpoint notes in class so that you will have no trouble understanding his main points at all. I highly recommend him.
