Favorite prof on campus! Lecture time was filled with story that tried to make it more relevant. He is one of the oldest professors on campus so he KNOWS the history. Don't forget to stop by his office he is always eager to help you pass his class! LOTS and LOTS of extra credit. Recommend any class with him!

My favorite Professor and teacher ever. Huge heart, will work with a student if you work for him. Gives bonus points for being excited or bringing coffee to class. If you show interest and effort, he will be your favorite teacher, and even more so, become a good friend. If you go to CMU, take one of his classes, or you're wasting your time at CMU.

The most interesting teacher I've ever had since I started kindergarten. Extremely nice and knowledgeable about everything, and eager to help. Stop by his office even if you don't know him and he'll talk to you like you're family and give you chocolate.

Excellent professor. Doc R has a considerable amount of world experience from which to learn, and while his classes are difficult, they are meant to drive students to higher echelons of learning. You have to work hard to fail one of his classes, he will do anything (ethical) to get you to pass. Not saying you'll automatically pass, you have to put forth the effort and he'll meet you halfway. Amazing man, amazing stories.
