Comment:

Mr. Jordan was a very nice person but his class def. wasn't my favorite. You must have a 95 to get an A and your grade is 50% tests and 50% lab quizzes. Lab was always pretty easy but his tests are tough. If you ask him what to study he will just tell you to read the chapters and study your notes. He was very nice and helpful though.

Comment:

I took Mr. Jordan for General Ecology and it was very easy. All anyone had to do was read the chapters for "book quizzes" and read the notes he provided on the overhead. Tests were not hard at all. As a matter of fact no one made below a 75! I'd take him for another class not because he is easy, but he is a good teacher.

He is very rude. He looks at you like you are stupid everytime you ask him a question and his notes rarely make sense. Very unclear about what you need to study for the tests and his tests are EXTREMELY hard. Most of the time he doesn't know what chapter he's on. I don't like him

Im still currently in this class, however so far i have studied like crazy and failed every test. Very unclear about what to study. Does not know what chapters he is even on, puts stuff from lab on test but says he wont. Sort of rude and looks at you like you are dumb when you ask questions. Study Study Study. Dr. Jordan is a great man, and a great professor. Beware, you must study for the tests and the lab quizzes. Dont worry if your failing though, he curves a lot!! Great guy, but obsessed with parasites, you will hear so much about them until you deaf in the ear. :) Take Him! :)

I loved him. His lectures can be a little boring, but he is quite funny. Labs are interesting and he is always willing to help. I never studied for the texts but made an A in the class (I will admit this is because I'm good in Science - most need to study) He gives extra credit and allows you to make up tests/labs.

You have to memorize the notes to pass a test. Reading the book really helps things easier to understand also. Class goes by quickly and I never dread it. The only complaint I have is that sometimes he'll spend a long time talking about one thing, but that can only help you and never hurt you. Lab gets boring after a while, but he is good.

Dr. Jordan is a good professor! I loved his humor and everything. His tests are hard. I failed everyone of them but still made a C in the class! not that hard to pass the class! Gives a big curve, but just study if you want more than a C! Know your notes!

Prof Jordan is a really good lecturer. His tests are somewhat hard...you pretty much have to take notes on all he says and memorize it for his tests. But he makes class interesting and he's nice. If he picks on you it just means he like you. :)

He is so sweet!! He loves to pick on you so don't think anything of it. His lab quizzes are so easy, study a little and you will do fine on them. His test are another story. They are very hard. You have to study a lot!! Oh and he takes attendence every day but with 70 students you can always have a friend sign you in (you won't miss anything much.)

He is SO cute!! I love his class and he makes it fun. He does miss some, but usually lets you know ahead of time. Tests are not hard but not easy, just go over the notes you take in class.

he is a great guy. His lecture tests are hard but his lab quizes make up for it. It can get boring because you take so many notes in his class. Just pay attention and do good on the quizes and always ask for the extra credit and you will pass that class.

He never comes to class and never tells you when you are going to miss, but other than that GREAT! I doesn't really matter what you make on tests, I failed all of them but maybe one and I made a 97 as the final grade thanks to easy extra credit!!!!!!!!!!

Misses classes alot which is frustrating. Lectures and tests are random. Gives tons of extra credit which saved me. Labs are easy, we had three this semester. Nice guy but practices overall drove me batty.

Nice guy, make sure you study the notes. Misses class A LOT, which was good at the time, but harder later on the tests. I think he really cares about his students though.
