O'Neil is the best. Brilliant guy, and a real character. Homework prepares you for your tests so take the time to do the homework and really understand it (not hard) If I would have done the homework I would have surely gotten an A in 151, but nonetheless I got an A in 150.

TERRIBLE teacher. You will probably get an A, as he is very easy, but you will not learn much. If you just need to get through 150, take him. If you actually need to know the material for future classes, take it with someone else. He does not answer questions. He is not helpful. He uses 100% of the lab period, as he wastes most of the lab time.

An inspiring instructor who truly enjoys his work and makes science fun and accessible to the masses. I have nothing but nice things to say! Many students thought that he was easy so they didn't bother to study at all-- DONT MAKE THIS MISTAKE! He has no problem giving you a bad grade, if you don't know the material.

Great teacher! Glad I took my chem 150 and 151 there because once you transfer the classes are so much harder. He doesn't make you wright lab reports and you practically have no homework. Take him if you can.

Mr. O'Neil is EASY! Probably a great class for someone looking for an easy A to fulfill G.E. Requirements, but as a science major, I am definitely not impressed. I learned absolutely nothing, and I feel that my high school chemistry classes better prepared me. The first month was spent on nothing but converting metric measurements. A MONTH!

O'Neill is a great professor. I was nervous to take a Chemistry class, but he made it seem so simple. He reviews concepts so much, that as long as you're attending class, there is no reason to get a bad grade. I loved this class. Wish I could take this type of class every semester. Pay attention, take notes, and go to class...

His class was VERY easy. I would recommend his class to any science major as the things you learn are not very useful to continue on with higher chemistry classes. Only take this class if you need the GE credit. He spends the class walking you through practice test and conducts the labs for you. Very easy, Easy A, no actual learning.

I had him for 150 and 151 and he is by far the easiest teacher i have ever had. At first its hard to understand the way he teaches but other than that the class is easy. He gives several practices test that are the same as his test so you are well prepared. You don't need a book for his class.

so easy. i suck at science and he makes it very easy to understand. He gives you 4 or 5 practice tests (worth no points) before your actual exam. The practice tests are exactly like the regular exams and he is very helpful in making sure you learn and understand every concept.

The greatest teacher at AHC i completely sucked at chemistry and he made it sooooooooo easy. He knows how to teach. Hes also very helpful answers questions and is nice. He didnt require a text book for our class which is awesome too. I recommend this guy to anyone!

Oneil's style of teaching makes chem 120 very easy. Once you get to 150,it gets a little complicated.The combination of reading the book and listening to his lectures really help a lot.His jokes are funny.he acts as if he's talking to himself."What state is Hydrogen in? Awesome teacher. Second time taking chem, didn't learn anything the first time because the teacher was very unclear of what he was teaching. A completely different style of teaching Mr.O'Neill uses but everything is very clear once it's all put together. Funny, helpful, awesome guy!!!!
