A very good professor... knows what he's talking about and very helpful. You'll be fine as long as you read and follow the study guide he provides. Also, when taking his exams, you have to make urself very clear or you'll be messed up!

Good Professor. He is a little dry in his lectures but he tries to make them interesting. Would definitly take him again. Short answers/essay exams. He gives you what you need to study in the study guide. Random weekly reading quizes instead of attendence.

Professor Perez is an excellent professor. Yes, he is incredibly difficult, but I guarantee you will learn more with Dr. Perez than any other professor at CMU. If you are looking for an "easy A" do not take this course, as effort is required. Just do what Professor Perez asks, read the book, and take notes on the powerpoints and you'll be fine.

If you are going to criticize about how tough Prof. Perez is, you should probably learn to spell!!! Perez is not the easiest in Poli Sci, but he is a great guy and you learn a lot! If you want an easy A probably not the prof you want..if you want to learn then he's your man!

Good professor...However expect to pay close attention to every comment he makes. Doesn't believe in study groups. Study guides are broadened to make you study more than you have to. Make sure to read the books - there's some things he won't tell yo in class.

Fantastic class...Dr. Perez is not easy..but you learn a lot in his class. He's always ready to help. Has study guide which pretty much tells you what will be in the test. If your comments are stupid or not based on any facts or reason, then yes Dr. Perez will challenge to defend your "opinions." That is not being mean that is making people think.

Some of these previous comments are harsh. This class is a little difficult, but not if you pay attention. However, if your class comments don't fit with his, he will be pretty snotty about it. Also has many annoying mannerisms that make it difficult to sit through a class, stutters a lot. Hard to get help out of class, but not right after class.

Biggest Jerk CMU has seen in a long time, do not take his class unless you have to, he is a horrible man who stutters all hour, never lets you out a second too soon and will try anything in his power to make you look stupid and will try very hard to make fun of you to your face, he should be exported......he is so horrible
