Mr. Bower is an all around AWESOME professor. His study guides if you write things that refer to what is on them and study you will get an A on both test. He tells jokes, and enjoys teaching, and is very well at it. If your looking for a history class that is fun and exciting take him.

he is a great teacher very smart and makes histroy interesting but his study guides are useless b/c its 100 terms and answer is about 2 pgs long his test are hard to pass this class you really have to study and read the book if your taking alot of hard classes and looking for a break dnt take him but if you got the time then try him

Professor Bower is all around a great professor. He has a good sense of humore and relates everything you learn to real life. He gives a study guide for the test and you get to watch great vidoes in over half the classes. His lectures are entertaining. I give him a grade of A+. Im sad his class for me is history!

What a delightful man! He has a wonderful sense of humor and a way about him that really engages his students (or me, at least) in the material. However, seriously, if you want to pass this class, heed the other students' advice and READ! THE! BOOK! Trust me, his tests are VERY comprehensive.

This is a great teacher, I highly recommend him. He made the class fun and interesting. I'm not a big history fan but I enjoyed this class because he made it easy to understand and had a great sense of humor. You will have to read lots before a test, but it wasn't hard.

He made everyone love history. It was so easy to understand it they way he taught it because of the way he made a personal connection to the facts and current events. I loved his class,however, I do not recommend taking it during a short term during hurricaine season!!!!
