I would definitely recommend him! there is a paper but its basically just to help you!

I took this class over the summer and it was fairly difficult. However, Dr. Day's notes and helpfulness really helped me get through the class. He really cares about you and makes sure you get the material and even offers retakes of exams. He assigns a fair amount of homework but doing the homework helps you understand the material.

I pretty much taught myself Physics. I only went so I could get my attendance grade, and then went home and studied from the book. His tests can be really hard if you don't study. I'd recommend studying A LOT. I got an A in the class, just because I studied like crazy for his tests.

Great Professor. Very helpful and is will work with you if you ask. Read the chapters and study the questions he gives on blackboard and you will do well. Gives 7 Tests and a report due at end of semester. No final but lets you retake a couple of test over if you did poorly. Would totally recommend!

Professor Day is extremely helpful, he is available to discuss your grades and prompt in regards to returning emails. He curves the tests but you should study for them. There is no final exam, on the day of the final, he allows you to make-up up to three tests that you did poorly on. If you study the study guides, you will do well in the class.

Overall, good guy. The lectures are boring if you're not interested in physics. Must study for the test in order to do well. It's hard to make an A in his class but it is quite possible if enough effort is put into it

Best teacher ever! Hes so friendly and willing to help. You can miss up to 4 days without it affecting your grade and in class you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you dont disturb the class. To study for test just go over the questions he puts on blackboard and you'll be fine. There is no exam and he lets you retake any 3 test

Awesome guy. I wish I could take this class again. Tests have a 15 point curve on them. I always get in high 80s or low 90s. I haven't read a page in the book yet, and class is almost over. Don't even buy the book, its super expensive, and you'll never use it. Just study the notes, and practice questions he posts on blackboard.

He is a really sweet guy. I am horrible at physics and I got a B. He is really helpful but make sure you read the chapters for the tests. Classes are interesting and he does some really cool examples that realy help. He is hands down the best science teacher I have ever had. If you have a chance definately take him!

I hate physics, but it was required for my major. He was a really cool teacher. Test were long, attendance was mandatory, and he let you pick the day you want to take some test. Some lectures were hard to follow- what worked for me is reading the chapters! MAKE SURE YOU READ THEM. And do the questions at the end of each chapter. Also a big curve

Great Professor. actually best one i've had yet! he will work with you as much as you want. The Final is nothing more than him allowing you to re-take two of the tests. I've spoke with him privatley and hes allowing me to retake 3. if u want an Easy 4 credit class, this is your choice professor. p.s.He'll talk a lot about his wife on the first day

Pretty cool teacher and I passed with a C without studying that much. I think he curves the grades so that the class average is always a 75. I hate science and especially physics but I am glad I took him and not some other physics teacher. I would take him again.

Very Kind Man! He really helps his students a lot and he has a ridiculous curve on his tests which is awesome for people who do poorly sometimes. Tests are extreme mind numbing sometimes, but if you read the text, the tests are more understandable. Read the book, look at online material and you'll at least have an easy B! TAKE HIM!

Professor Day's tests are very hard so you better study hard. I got a B in the class and worked my butt off. Your grade is based on attendance which is mandatory, seven tests (3 of which you can re-take at the end of the semester) and a 3 and a half page environmental report. Don't take this class looking for an easy A.

not a piece of cake, but not rediculously hard. If you can stay awake, and take good notes, its a high B or A. Sleepers can pull off a B if they read the book a little. He really likes his class though, and is really nice and understanding.

Ok...your grade is based upon 7 tests, a 4 page paper and attendance. His tests were not easy, but he does curve them all by at least 10 points which is nice. His lectures are boring, but the class itself is not bad at all. I would definently recommend him to take physics 1050, its very possible to get an A, I recieved a B.
