Dr. Wiggins is absolutely one of the best professors I've had at UofL. He truly enjoys teaching his class and works hard to make sure everyone understands. There are only three essay exams, but if you go to class and pay attention at all, you'll do great. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind; a great class.

Philosophy 321: Ethics. I recieved an A in this class. He is a very likeable teacher and sometimes the classes are not boring, but not always. You would be wise to visit his office hours multiple times during the semester, your grade will just keep going up on tests. I barely used the textbook, which is awful btw. His powerpoint slides are good.

He is an extremely nice professor, he gave a second final exam date for my class so we could have time to study for other classes. He is very straight forward, and randomly takes attendance. Tests are Essay format which personally I liked, he gives you 8 questions before the test and chooses two for the test, so there are no surprises. He is sweet

Dr. Wiggins is nice. Very knowledgeable. He gives 3 tests, gives you 6 topics a week ahead, puts 3 on exam and you pick 2. He likes you to write...a lot. it's a blue book exam. start from basic detail, if you think it's obvious...include it. Go see him to talk about exam. He likes to know all students. He was really nice. Hard grader.

I had him for Medical Ethics and he was great. He used powerpoints and the book and knows a LOT about medical ethics - he IS a medical ethicist. Usually had really interesting stories to tell in class during discussion. For essay tests, he gave a list of topics to study beforehand, then would typically chose 3 and you had to write about 2 of them.

Great, interesting professor. Randomly checked attendance. Had a good sense of humor. I really enjoyed class. Go to class, take notes, study powerpoints, & you should be fine. Exams were in essay form. Gave us a list of possible test topics, chose two, & we would choose one.

A total jerk. He's nice in class, very soft-spoken and friendly, but outside of class he's an overly-hard grader and very very rude in e-mails.

Dr. Wiggins was very insightful. He knows a great deal about Philosophy, which just so happens to be my field of interest. Quite a bit of reading, but his tests directly coincided with it and lecture.
