Comment:

Cortez is really nice and smart however she does not really follow through with her syllabus in her classes. I feel that her students would benefit more if she would buckle down more. She is helpful and you can learn but she clearly has favorites in her class.

Very Helpful. Speaks spanish fluently and sometimes is difficult to understand. Very fair grader. Will help if you ask for it. Very good teacher highly recommend taking the class.

She is a very laid back professor, but she isn't very clear with her assignments and often does not really follow the syllabus. She speaks very, very fast, so it makes comprehending what she's saying difficult at times. Her tests are a little confusing too, but overall the class isn't that bad because it's easy.

Profesora Cortez is such a nice lady! The semester starts off a little rough especially if you are not exceptionally fluent in Spanish but as time passes you'll see how nice and helpful she is! Her assignments aren't always clear but she's always willing to answer any questions. Take this class with her!

Really good professor. Is willing to help students and applies extra credit. Loves to sing so get your vocals ready! Tests and quizzes are pretty challenging, so study even if you were raised speaking spanish. Recommendable!

Well Otilia is very nice, and smart but I don't think anyone realy learns anything in her classes. She is not always clear when assigning work. She does have some good stories though, and she is very laid back. She is open to suggestions. She talks really fast, hardest spanish professor for me to understand but just hang in there.
