Comment:

Dr. Thomas is hands down the nicest prof on campus. He is helpful outside of the classroom as well & takes pride in his students achievements even after the semester. The only complaint I have is that the tests were difficult for someone with little prior history knowledge.

Comment:

Dr. Thomas is the sweetest professor at Wilkes. He cares about his students & it shows every class. His tests are pretty hard, especially if you have little prior history knowledge. However, he makes every effort to allow each student to pass the class. He assigns online quizzes throughout the semester to boost your grade.

Comment:

A literal angel. The textbook was used for open book online quizzes. He sends review questions and really wants everyone to do good in the class. You have to study for the exams but nothing crazy, he really helps out a lot with what to focus on. He made actually learning the material easy as well. 10/10 would take again.

If you have the option to take class with Professor Thomas, do it! His class is easily organized to help students learn and do the best that they possibly can. Make sure to go to class because he will tell you exactly what will be on exams. He really cares about his students and wants to help them in the best way that he can.

Im not very interested in history but this class great. He teaches the material really well and gives online quizzes during the semester so that you can boost your grade if you mess up on a test. He gives you good outlines of what to study on the test and gives good feedback. The class lectures may seem long but you learn a lot.

Great guy all around. He really cares about his student. He tells you what will be on the test and helps you with test taking skills that you'll need in your other classes. He's not my adviser but if I email him with any questions I have and I know that he'll answer. For FYF attendance counted as an exam grade!

I feel Mr. Thomas makes his class the ideal college course. He makes you truly study to understand the material, if you don't, then you will not do well. He gives you clear-cut lectures that makes history interesting. He is equally a great person as he is a professor. Take his class if you have the ambition to become a better student.

His lectures are clear and fun to listen to. He'll help you with any class and he's almost always available to talk to. He recommends reading throughout the semester too. He really seems to love his job. I'd love to take him again. I can't actually remember if his class was mandatory, but I don't think it was.

I really did not enjoy my experience with Professor Thomas. He made history boring and hard to understand. He is extremely out of touch with his students and struggles to make his lectures clear. I would avoid him if you can, especially if you already don't enjoy history.

Probably the toughest freshman foundations class, but you will not regret it if you take this class. This class will motivate you and make you understand that you can be anything you want. Three tests, one paper, and an attendance grade. Easy notes, but makes sure you study them. Tests are confusing. Best all around person/teacher on campus!
