If you really want to learn something then Take a history class with David. He is incredibly well read and a wonderful person. He talks a lot and sometimes is all over the place but he is a great story teller. I find him charming and delightful Got an A in his fantastic WWII course

Gets frustrated because no one answers his ill formed questions. When someone does have the courage to answer him, he cuts them off after one word and tells us the answer. Only covered half of the material that was on the syllabus. Few tests and assignments. Gets off topic often.

Very flexible with handing in assignments but isn't clear on guidelines. Have only taken 1 test 12 weeks into the class. Gets off topic often.

This professor was very flexible with passing in work. He is very understanding, and kind. His classes are lecture heavy, and he gives a quiz once a week. There are 3 video essays that he will assign, and he also gave a couple take home tests. The class is not too hard if you pay attention and study.

Mr. Williams is very knowledgeable of material, but tends to get off track in Geography 101. Because he's a history teacher he goes on tangents that consist of HIS 111-112 material. Gives weekly quizzes for a period of time, which go over basic material. He's a good guy, but I don't recommend the course.

If you like history and can keep up with him and understand what he's talking about, I'd definitely suggest taking Professor Williams. He knows what he's talking about, but I don't think he knows how to translate that effectively if the students are unprepared on the topic. Be careful if you don't know anything about history and want to learn.

WORST teacher... very nice man but gives way to many research papers.. nothing is organized what so ever... took one test the whole semester and the final was a complete mess because there was no structure just lecture and reading directly from the book.

Worst teacher I have ever had! It is impossible to take notes because he bounces around so much. The information from class and from textbooks are not what he tests on. He has apparent favorites and is prejudice against certain students.

He rambles on and is hard to follow. It's impossible to take notes from his lectures, don't bother, but sometimes he writes illegible phases on the board. Everyone texts or sleeps the entire class, he takes attendance

Very knowledgeable, Very interesting. Big story teller, but only 1/2 of his lectures are note worthy. Gives alot of handouts, alot of reading, pretty demanding. Verry easy grader, always allows makeups and extra credit. Only 2 tests/2 essays. Tests are difficult though. Recommend definitely.

Professor Williams is a great educator. He is candid enough to keep things interesting, yet demanding enough to keep you on your toes and to make you work hard. He knows his material exceptionally well, and he teaches in a generally organized way, which makes learning it all that much easier. And you won't forget his stories, either.

Very well read and intellectual. I enjoyed his lectures and it seems there was never enough time to enjoy the material more fully. This is the instructor to take if you really want to learn history and not just take up space. all you children leave your cel phones home. this guy does not tolerate foolishness intellectually stimulating man

if you don't mind not taking much notes, doing essays and hard tests than go right ahead. He obviously knows his material but doesn't know how to present it.. He seems to be a little confusing at points and tends to take a while passing any assingments back. when asked for help, he puts it off.

He is a great teacher and a great guy. He is obviously passionate about his topic but he could have organized the information a little better. He likes to use maps for better clarity. Beware his map quiz, it's really hard.

Great professor... it does seem like he has trouble relaying the information however it seemed that 95% of the class hadn't taken the prior course(History of the West 1)and that affected how he had to teach the class. There's a lot to absorb but if you read & attend class it's an easy A. Only 3 essays & 3 tests and it's all right out of the text.

His WWII class is rather boring and I thought it was going to be more interesting. But the 4 short essays and the 10 small one page journal entries about a secondary book are very easy to do and you have a chance to redo your essays. Final and midterm are multiple choice and pretty easy to pass even with common sense.
