He's a decent professor. Knows a lot about Physics, and is good at explaining things as well. Homeworks were tough (MasteringPhysics) which didn't help much for exams; it took a lot of my time. But other than that everything was good. Nothing wrong with the professor.

His lectures are posted online, which is a VERY nice resource. I lost count of how many lectures I neglected to go to in person so I could work on other things, but since I could just watch them later, I still got an A. He tends to ramble a little bit and keep everyone a few minutes past when class is supposed to end.

One of the worse teachers I have had. He teaches under his tests, most test had a class average under 70% (FAILING). You can not possibly do well in his class unless you already know the material, even then its crazy hard.

I have had a couple of classes with him. He is amiable and helpful. He always tries to make sure that every student understands the concepts. His courses are probably the most organized in the physics department.

He is a good teacher, and has fairly light accent compared to many of the professors in the department. He will go over things as many times as necessary until people understand, which can make his class boring if you already know what's going on.

Explain theory well, and do experience in front of you. ONE WORD for those who hates Physics, GO TO CLASS! That will save you from flipping that big physics book non-stop

Professor Aravind really cares for his students. His lectures are well done, and there are many applications and demonstrations. I don't know what comment below is talking about, he speaks perfect English, he just has an accent which is understandable. He is very helpful outside of class, definitely take advantage and go see him for help.

This guy is great and explain stuffs very well. He does not speak prefect English, but I can live with it because he really know physics back to front. Be sure you go to class, even just sit there. Masteringphysics is kind of sucks, i rather have more problem on paper.

He's really repetative, but he explains everything and gives all the essential equations in class. I usually don't have to refer to the book much.

His teaching style annoys me. He's very repetitive, and while he knows the material and explains it well, he does nothing to make the material pertinant or interesting. Very dry, very boring, very repetitive. I've had better professors.

VERY good at explaining everything. This guy truly gets it. If you come to lecture and take notes, you can ace the class. I didn't even attend conference and got all I needed to know.
