really unclear. She expects way too much from her students and she makes corny jokes. Her office hours are useless. I remember having an appointment, and she rushed me, so she can go home. I emailed her once to help me, but she never replied. She told me that she didnt have time. At least tell me.. never take this class i wish i checked out.

If you want to improve your writing, she is the teacher you're looking for. Great professor; HARD grader, but A is achievable. I earned the A with much hard work and dedication. GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!! She's very helpful. She definitely drills you to get ready for 39B. I really liked her

The class itself is hard, as you may have heard, but the professor is great. shes hilarious in this sort of sarcastic, dry humor. shes great. and is SUPER helpful during office hours. she basically writes your essays for you, but is a hard grader. But is a good teacher nonetheless. i reccomend her!

I thought she was really creative in her ways of teaching. I found this class to be extremely helpful! She DOES grade REALLLLYYY hard but in the end, it's all for the better. I liked her, although it was a challenging class.

I am a motivated student. Ms Davis is not a motivational instructor in the classroom. Her own writing isn't very literate, her assessment of work is often non-deterministic, which leaves a writer guessing as to what exactly is important. She reminds me of some of my wooly-headed grade school teachers, not a rigorous academic. There are better.

Paige is a good writing teacher who expects a lot from her students. Her written comments don't help very much, but she is very helpful during office hours. The courseload is manageable but you have to work to get a B. She is a big liberal (just look at the posters in her office) so make sure you write your papers with that in mind.

Horribly HARD teacher. Grading is tough too. But she seems like a nice person. Very politically involved and enthusiastic. Made me smile occassionally. But still hard. I hear she never gave out an A (as a final grade). Lots of work. I say, run and scream.
