She is extremely unclear about what she wants and when you ask for clarity she gets upset. If you miss anything on an assignment expect to have a C-. It seemed like 34 of my class didn't get credit. Once your grade is low don't expect it to get better. BEWARE.

Honestly Pam Gray was the worst professor I have ever had. Although I received an A in her class, I worked my butt off. Her exams are ridiculous as well as her grading system. Getting a C on an assignment is actually a 50% in her grading scale. We never once opened the book is class or discussed what we were learning. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! I saw these reviews and I thought I'm sure she's not that bad, but they were all 100% accurate. She writes her own book and thinks she's god in the subject of public speaking. She makes this class 100x harder than it needs to be. Oh and she calculates your grade by hand and you can't know what you have until the very end.

Honestly the worst professor I've had. There's only one exam that's 12 pages long and the class time isn't close to being enough time to finish. She makes it almost impossible to pass the class and her "extra credit" she offers (even if you do all 4 of them) won't boost your grade at all. Grading system is terrible. Choose a different professor.

Awful! The first three weeks she lectures how she hates it when teachers are not understanding in times of crisis in a student's life. Yet, she is unwilling to practice what she preaches. She will be more than happy to give advice before a performance, but then she will grade you down for following her advice. Mean and rude. Avoid at ALL costs!

Avoid this teacher at ALL costs. She is extremely critical of everything you do and your grades show it. She expects you to be an expert at everything and is very unclear. She tells you to refer to the packet which is ALSO UNCLEAR. I have never been so stressed out. If anyone tells you this class is easy they are lying. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

You don't have a clue what she expect she needs to be fired, no way in a 100 level class you should get a C AVOID AT ALL COST. Very pointless! She makes things way harder than they need to be and will disagree with you when she feels. Tells stories the entire class and expects you to know some of them for her exams. Dr. Gray spoke for one of our class sections in this seminar for com grad students. To be fair, I didn't know her at all before this. However, what followed was a complete waste of 90 minutes. I couldn't believe some of the questions she posed..."I worked with business professionals for 2 months. Why would I do that?" Really? Give me a break.

Run, do not walk, in the other direction from this woman. She took everything that I ever learned about communications & public speaking and stomped on it. This was a class of honors kids, and we all hated it. There is no grading scale, she just gives you what she feels, so most of us did not do good. Very boring. Critiques every little thing. The most unprofessional teacher I have had the misfortune of experiencing. Do not expect to simply write a speech as everything is dictated by the course packet. She taught from it like it was the gospel, each word possessing power beyond mention. With 2 days advance notice, she failed to send me the only exam review until the day after the exam.

She is not a good teacher at all. She uses the same examples ALL the time. She thinks she is funny and tells the exact same jokes everyday. She brags about having a PhD. She doesn't grade fairly. She won?t explain why you got the grade. She wants everything to be her way. No creativity.
