Comment:
Professor Genova is very well versed in her field. She promotes good class discussion and explains things very well. She is very particular in her grading and sometimes it can be hard to know what she wants. I took this class because of my interst of French/European culture and don't regret it but it's not easy by any means.

The class I took with Dr. Genova was one of the absolute best courses I've ever taken in my life. She picks excellent readings and has an incredible depth of knowledge about French literature. Dr. Genova is also extremely helpful and quite funny, and her passion for what she teaches is evident in every class.

I learned a lot from Dr. Genova, and wish that I could take a class with her again. Her lectures are fun, organized and easy to follow. Lots of discussion. She actually cares about her students and wants us to succeed. You'll have reading and essays, the usual for a literature class. If you have the option to take Euro Modernism with her, do it!

European Modernism with Genova was one of my favorite courses at OU. If you like 20th Century lit or are interested in studying French, do not miss this. Her class inspired the best discussions, offered the best reading material, and she's very helpful. You'll learn a lot, and it's not a difficult class if you apply yourself well.

Dr. Genova is a class act, but she's primarily a French graduate professor, so if you get the chance to take a class like ENGL4003 with her, don't pass it up!

European Modernism. One of the best classes I have taken in my learning career. Knows and understands the books, authors and movements she discusses. You can tell she really cares about the subject. Felt like starting a revolution when I left class. Amazing books!

One of the most engaging and exiciting courses I have ever taken. She knows SO much about her topic and really takes the student to a new level of academic study. She's really blunt also...love it.
