Great professor. No elitist ego what-so-ever, she is so approachable and engaging. You must do the readings, but she is clear on what she expects from you and her assignments are also clear and straightforward. Refreshing to encounter her style unlike many profs who seem to like to keep students guessing and lost. I love her as well.

She is extremely knowledgeable with respect to all religions. I had absolutely no knowledge of any religion prior to class. She is patient and very interactive concerning everyone's understanding of the lecture. The readings are manageable and she offers "any questions on any of the material?" daily. I love her A+++

You must work for your grade. Attendance and reading courseware is mandatory. If you are lazy you will fail, deservingly. I love her! She is always asking if there are any questions and she is genuinely curious to make sure students understand the material.

very monotone and doesn't keep you interested. has TONS of readings that are almost always impossible to get through. she has brutal exams. it was definitely one of the worst classes i have ever taken.. especially for a 1st year women studies class

I'm surprised about these remarks. I thought she was a great prof. She obviously cares about her students, she is very intelligent and loves the subject. She may come off as being a bit arrogant, but once you talk to her she's great! Her exams were fair to say the least (all MCQs), and not difficult if you attended lectures.

Thought she was very knowledgeable and very fair. Did all she could to explain what was not understood. Allowed students to have their views, and backed up her opinions with facts. Tests get harder as they go on. Not a bird class.
