A very nice professor. He always offers help and the 4 tests are essentially given to you. The TA also graded extremely leniently. It was very hard not to get an A in his class.

I am a very visual learner so trying to follow along with his illegible writing was very hard. You have to listen to what hes saying outloud if you have any hope of coying it down correctly and I just didn't have the attention span for that. He also rambles on random topics that take up alot of class time. But he's verypassionate about calculus!

Comment:

Overall, a really great professor and a great guy. As you probably know by now he's blind but he basically has the entire textbook memorized. Calculus is this man's life. Try to stay awake in class and note his examples, there's always 1 or 2 problems he does that he says will be on the exam. Gives 1/3 of test points back in office hours

Dr. Moore is blind, so drink some coffee before class and pay attention. He's talkative and loves to help so if you have a question, go to his office hours. His tests come from his review so make sure to do it. You get attendance points and 1/3 of points lost on test if you go to his office hours.

He is very friendly and doesn't try to trick students on tests. Do the reviews for the tests because the problems are very similar to the actual tests. He is blind which makes his writing hard to read, but it's pretty amazing he can even teach math without being able to see.

It would help if you know how to teach math to yourself, because sometimes his writing is illegible. What can you expect from a blind man? But he's very kind and always willing to help. Make sure to get back 1/3 of your points from all 3 tests by going to office hours.

One of the best math profs at UF. He's retired from research but still teaches just because he loves it. Clearly he cares about his students. Only problem is that he rambles a bit about strange math topics (like the definition of a circle). Oh, and don't be an idiot and raise your hand to ask a question. Just don't do it.

Great Prof. Attendance is mandatory, but it is very helpful. He tells you what questions are going to be on the test and goes over them in class. Writing sometimes messy because he is blind, but pay attention. Gives back 1/3 of points on test by going to office hours. I got an A in the class. Nice guy all around. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

His writing is hard to understand, but pay attention as he's speaking & u'll figure it out, & there are other people in the class that u can ask if u miss something. do the practice tests, and if he says to know something in class, know it. try to get this man, the nicest professor ever at UF.

TAKE this class. Do whatever you can to get into his sections. He gives you 4 tests and the final, one test can be dropped. A week before each test he'll give you a review and the test is the EXACT same with just different numbers. If you understand the review you'll do good on the test. I got an A and only went to a few lectures. Take him!

Dr. Moore is great. It takes a few days to understand his teaching and writing style but after that you're fine. He cares way too much about proofs (which won't be on the test) so bring something else to do if you want. He has a LOT of office hours and will help you with the review which is the source of the test. Easy if you work a little bit!

PROFESSOR MOORE is awesome! He is super nice, friendly, and actually cares about his students. He is always willing to answer questions and help students. he is blind so sometimes is hard to read wat he's putting on the board but he is nice about it to tell u wat he wrote if u ask. bottom line great class,i didnt do ny hw jus went to class did the
