The work is easy, but time consuming. Some weeks we had a 40 pg story to read. Some of the assigned readings are interesting, so if you enjoy reading it won't be terrible. Don't like to read? don't take this because you will find yourself struggling in discussions and quizzes. It honestly takes about an hour to read each week. She is nice.

Took Folklore as a humanity and LOVED it! Def was not what I was expecting and Professor Stout was one of a kind. Although attendance is not mandatory she gives participation at the end for it.

Has tendencies to not use time efficiently, when she assigns essay projects she isn't clear at first but closer to the due date becomes more transparent on what she wants in the essay. Is very open with class discussions, and gives you several opportunities to have essay's reviewed for grades. If you want an easy professor, take this class.

Professor Stout is awesome! Loved having her success in college and life class. There are no test in her success classes which is pretty cool. Expect homework though. Hope to take one of her classes in the future!

Just sat in class most of the time. about the 7th class the lectures stopped and we just sat there while she talked about men and how they all suck. Very unclear what was supposed to be in essay packets. Not an enjoyable class at all

Don't take this class online unless you're a part time student. You will spend more time studying and doing homework for this class than any of your others. It's very informative, but time consuming. There is a list of objectives, but it doesn't really help when prepping for the tests. Discussion questions are more philosophy based than history.

Online Class, You can not ask for a better professor she was incredible. Test are fairly easy if you read the assignments. Make sure you have college level writing and required length and you have an easy A!
