Comment:

Poor teacher. I wouldn't necessarily say avoid, but he is an extremely tough grader, is unfriendly, and makes no accommodations for anyone ever. Lectures are clear but boring. He cares about the material but not the students, and has a short temper.

Comment:

He has the three most important qualities of a good professor. He is very knowledgeable, he has a good teaching methodology, he cares about his students (very approachable). He implemented a project in this course for the first time this semester, it was fun and very interesting. Exams are fair, highly recommended.

Comment:

Speaks well, but has a quebecer accent. Lectures up until the midterm are useful, for learning how to analyze shaft for his midterm. After that, attendance isn't important unless he speaks about the project. He posts all lectures slides on MyCourses. Having a friend's past project report is immensely helpful for doing your own. Good and fair prof.

Great prof, clear slides, very helpful and friendly, and will want to give you a good grade! Exams are relevant to course content, you should be fine if you attend and study for the class

Comment:

Great slides & webct setup for deformables! Lectures are quite boring, aside from the occasional Pascal comedy. In terms of exams, his objective is never to trick anyone, however every exam of his I wrote was WAY too long. For MECH 393, which the prof. admitted wasnt his forté, our final project was quite long and tedious and again exams were LONG.
