This class was a little dry but informative and fairly simple. Some of the tests and homework were really long, but not too difficult. If you've taken her 112/114 class, this will be a little harder, but very doable.

I liked Peroni as a professor, but I didn't like bio 114. I personally prefer the method of teaching that 111/112 offers as opposed to 113/114, but that's my preference and does not reflect upon Peroni. Her tests were not too difficult as long as you read, and she offered extra credit. She can be a little disorganized, but she's very friendly.

Bio 114 with Dr. Peroni was a very relaxed experience. As long as you read over the material before a test, you'll be fine. Lectures are a bit dry since there wasn't much class participation and we moved at an extremely slow pace. We didn't end up finishing all the material on the syllabus. But overall, nice experience, nice woman.

Dr. Peroni is really kind, but often gets off topic. My Bio 114 class did not cover anywhere near what we were supposed to cover, but Dr. Peroni really took the time to make us understand what we did go over.A

This class seemed a bit easy. Very chill labs. Learned a lot, but not super interesting. Take if you need a bio credit. Take if you want an understanding and accommodating prof. Don't take if you want to be pushed/challenged.

A really nice and easy going teacher. I had her for 114 which was based off an online textbook and in-class lectures. Unfortunately we didn't get through most of what was outlined in the syllabus because our discussions were too in-depth and she went off on tangents a lot. By participating in the class and getting to know her you'll do just fine.

You can tell from lectures that she knows her stuff (not just macrobiology but also molecular). Be prepared to study. Tests are fairly difficult and don't even get me started about the final exam...

Very tough lab grader. I never got above a B and worked my ass on each lab. very helpful during office hours. I went for each test that I had to review the tests and she was really helpful. Her lectures are also very interesting. I had her tuesday/thursday class and the class flew by. I also cried to her after failing Dr. Carroll's organic test...

Sometimes subjective with her tests. Tough lab grader. Always clear in what she wants for your lab & will make comments on your old labs in order for you to improve. Very clear in what she wants on tests. Doesn't use the textbook too much. Very helpful and clear. Likes to use research articles to teach us. Proper lab reporting is important for her.

Dr. Peroni is passionate about her field, and her Dendrology: Tree Identification course was an experience. Having only five students in this Group Investigation course made for quite the class dynamic. She is an eccentric professor who has poorly outlined expectations and is not well-prepared for class, but I still learned a lot about trees.

Peroni was very nice and funny (though it was mostly unintentional, wait till you hear her laugh). The tests were not exceedingly difficult but they did require application of principles NOT just memorization of facts. The material is a little dull, but BIO 112 is required to take any higher level classes, and the material isn't chosen by Peroni.

Dr. Peroni is really nice and very approachable. My only complaints are that the tests were more subjective than I expected, and the course material was reaaaally bland (a lot of talk about pollination of grass)
