The only time in my college career that I wrote a paper, and received a critique that had the phrase, "Great work!" but ended up with a 60. I thank god that she lets you redo the papers for a better grade; however her expectations seem somewhat unrealistic for first year graduate students. Her rubric for most papers is just insane!

Dr. Sherman is an AMAZING professor, she knows what she is talking about and really challenges you. Work load is big, but you have the chance to do the work until you feel you are right. She is always there to help. I learned so much from Dr. Sherman. Best Professor in the MSW program.

Without her I prob. would have gave up a long time ago. She is one of the most caring individuals I have ever met. She is a true role model. I only wish more of the staff was as dedicated and loyal to the students as she is. AWESOME PROF!

Dr. Sherman is easily the best professor I have ever had. The papers are challenging but that is because she wants her students to come out prepared for whats ahead of them. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I looked forward to her class every week. Don't think I would have gotten through my 1st yr. of grad school w/o her guidance.

Alot, Alot, Alot of work. She makes you do journals every week on top of HUGE Papers, some of which are crazy for your first and second semester of Graduate School. She's nice, but her expectations are over the top. Prefer not to take her again, I'm done typing 40 page papers.

Dr. Sherman is an excellent professor. She is very organized, gets back to you quickly if you need to contact her and very responsive to her students. She gives a lot of writing assignments, but if you don't mind writing you'll be fine. She is a fair grader is flexible with assignment due dates. Highly recommended!!!
