I'm not gonna lie. She is pretty tough, but ultimately a great teacher. Everything she says is valuable to your success. She praises teamwork. If you don't apply yourself, don't even bother trying one of her classes. If you really try your hardest, whether or not you get an A, she is exceptionally proud of you and lets you know it!

The class is very self explanitory. Do your homework and do the reading. It was fairly easy. A lot of people dropped the class because she is very rude and boring. But considering it's only once a week, there are only 13 class sessions total. Not that bad. She doesn't help you in any way though.

You HAVE to come to class! very picky, but helpfull when grading, leaves alot of feedback and ways to improve your writing. quite a bit of reading but the books are interesting so i finished them earlier than needed. Biggest part of your grade is a research paper based on your family. Go over your quizes once and your ready for the final!

I feel like I'm in 3rd grade again! Openly expresses opinions. Work-load isn't too bad. Each week: take easy quiz, turn in one essay, work on next essay. Do the work to her satisfaction and you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

I had a very bad experience in her class and actually complained to the dean of students. When I was gone for a day she wouldn't let me make up the work until I brought in a written excuse.... my excuse was that my grandfather passed away and she had the balls to ask for a copy of the obituary!

This is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Did not learn a thing. Rude and doesn't think your opinion matters, even in your own essay. Talks and grades like we are in the early 1900's. Who talks like that still? She is doesn't have respect for any student but expects you to have it for her.

Very structured class; had it once a week for 3 hours. We were given an hour in class to write the essay that was due for the next week. Quizzes every week, but if you read the chapter(s) you shouldn't have a problem. I never had a problem with her, thought she was very nice.
