Comment:

I hear a lot of people complain about her teaching style. I will admit that she is a little lecture heavy and runs over time sometimes. She gives great examples explaining things, gives lots of hand outs and she gives enough homework to help you learn but not so much to over load you. Besides Sandro, she is one of the best CS teachers at UPJ.

She is a very nice and helpful lady. She tries her best in answering the questions you have. Make sure you're there for the lab days, or at least make the work up. That is a large portion of your grade.

Her lecture is long, over class time and she doesn't like when we trying to pack for next class. She will give you ppt and note but you need to understand concept not only memorized the note to pass her test. But you will get good grades on lab it you do your work, and it will save your grade!

Good enough professor, gave us easy homework except for a web coding project, which no one truly felt prepared for. Homework could take a while, so give it at least an hour. Teaches easy course. Would take again. (Textbook is required for homework/projects)

Professor Hagerich spends most of her time going over slides and various other notes. I personally don't find this to be an effective way to program but others might. I have experience with the material so it wasn't as bad for me as it was for my other classmates.

She is very approachable and very nice. She wants you to at least try and stuff like that. Please put more than one hour into your assignments and then she won't become miss meany pants. Had her for a directed study and absolutely loved working with her!

ery nice lady, her smile makes me smile. She's easy to approach. I can understand why some think that her class seems boring, but it's a boring subject to begin with and it seems like a lot of common sense. The class is more easy than hard, but you need to pay attention or read the powerpoint because the tests are multiple choice AND open ended.

Comment:

Professor Hagerich is one of the best CS professors on Campus. I'd say that Hagerich, Sandro and Frank are tied for the best CS professors leavin Bilitski and Imm in the dust. Hagerich is nice, willing to help and a great professor. She is approachable and grades very fairly. Some say she grades easier but I think she just does a great job teaching

The class overall was somewhat interesting. It all seemed to be "common sense" to some degree which actually made it sort of hard to give anything meaning. The exams were not hard, the class was sort of easy and I actually did learn from it. She is a good teacher who knows her stuff and is willing to work with you.

Dr. Hagerich is a good teacher. Her biggest flaw is that she grades a little easy. But she is also a good teacher and perhaps that is why we do so well! She is willing to help and is very knowledgeable. Please don't think she's boring because she isn't. It's okay if CS or the classes she teaches aren't your cup of tea but don't blame her for that!

I had her for database, data struct and adv data struct. She gives everything you need in the notes, explains things very well and will help anyone willing to put forth the effort to ask. She grades easier then any other CS Professor at UPJ. And she is probably the most helpful of them all too! She is a great professor and you shouldn't avoid her!

Good prof...Discrete was easy. You would have to be a complete idiot to think it was hard...try having Wilce. You haven't come close to seeing a hard professor until you have had him!

Teacher could never answer questions that where asked. Felt that some of her in class explanations where not good. Overall I got a good grade, I just don't have confidence in the teachers ability. She didn't impress me.
