Increased my interest in the subject with lots of examples and clear explanations of the topics. May have been hard for some people to follow as she didn't rely on visuals too often, but lectures flowed smoothly and were well organized. It's not hard to do well if you participate in class and work hard on your writing skills.

Theres a lot expected for the larger written papers. Exams gave unclear instructions on what she wants. Excellent in explaining concepts during class time. Encourages a lot of discussion and questions. Interesting topics, taught well... but difficult exams. I'd suggest giving this course a shot if you have the time to focus on it.

I LOVED this class. It got me interested in all things cognitive. Ignore comments from PSYO 1001 students,(if you thought psyo 1001 was boring/hard you're in for a world of pain in 2nd and 3rd year) when Paddy is teaching this course she is awesome, funny, friendly, etc. The tests are long, and have essay questions, but are still not that hard.
