Could be a great teacher, but too busy injecting her personal social biases into the course. Multiculturalism class was only about gay community. Attempted to tell students how they can and can't refer to their spouses (must use "partner" instead of "Wife" to avoid offending). Claws come out when challenged or asked to clarify her statements.

I liked Pat. Very articulate, compassionate, professional, and not someone who assigns meaningless book assignments (I can't remember ever even having a book in this class). And, well, since "Rate My Professor" has "hot" as a rating area...I will put it out there that she is very much so!

Dr. Neufeld is compassionate about the area of counseling. She is knowledgeable and professional. She has high expectations, which is what I want in a professor. She exhibited integrity throughout the course. My guess would be that those who don't like her don't have much personal integrity or only want to slide by.
