I took anatomy......basically she just reads the powerpoint and then goes off on tangents and she then tests you on the tangents which are only relevent to you if you are a nursing major.

Dr.Pat has a good personality and enjoys the topic, however her Power Points she reads word for word and therefore losing th class attention. Study guides and knowledge are great.

She is a sweet person but her lectures are monotone and make you sleepy. She reads the powerpoints but then goes off into tangents on how things can be applied, She will test you on these tangents so take notes on those. Go to class because her pop quizzes that are extra credit can completely change your final grade!

Dr. Pat is extremely intelligent and it seems that she has a hard time simplifying information for her students. She does read right from the PowerPoints, but her test are strictly based on the lecture. She also offers extra credit take home quizzes and posts review questions for the test a week before. If you do these things, you should do well.

Dr Pat is one of the worst professors I've ever encountered. She reads the power points (that she buys from McGraw Hill) word for word and goes off on pointless tangents. Most people leave before the end of class, it's not worth it. It's impossible to read her writing and her tests are hard. Avoid!

Goes into extensive details about most things but doesn't clarify or give the big picture. She is extremely boring and reads off from powerpoints and makes other notes on the board. She is difficult to follow unless you have prior knowledge.

I often leave class early if I go at all. She goes off on tangents that get into so much detail that no one can understand unless you have seen this material many times before which I have and even I have trouble understanding what she is talking about. She talks to the board and writes so small that you can't read it unless you are on top of her.

I was nervous about this A&P class and after reading so many bad reviews I almost switched professors before the first class. Thank God I didn't. Dr.Pat was great, & although the class is extremely boring, and her voice rather monotonous, an A or B shouldn't be hard to achieve. She gives TONS of extra credit & review sheets w/ANSWERS b4 each exam

Dr. Pat is such a sweet person and her class is very well structured. It may not be the most interesting class (not at all) but all of her exams are pretty easy and you get bonus points! (if you go to class when she gives the quizzes) The extra credit quizzes are all open book and she gives you a study guide for the exams.

She's AWFUL. She's one of those profs that thinks it's funny to call herself "computer illiterate." This wouldn't be a problem if her lectures weren't powerpoint based. Many lectures were spent waiting for her to pull up poorly executed powerpoints so that she could read them verbatim without any elaboration. She always has a poor attitude in class

This woman gives the most boring lectures conceivable, but if you just read and study the book you will do well. Exams are multiple choice, attendance is not mandatory, and the final is not cumulative. She repeats herself within the same sentence, and freaks out if people talk during lecture. horrible teacher, but the course is easily passable.

Dr. Pat is a great professor. Her lectures may come off as dry and condescending at first but just when you may jump to that conclusion she mixes in some dry humor to make the class laugh. Her exams are somewhat challenging but she gives pop quizzes for extra credit on the next exam that are open-book and you are allowed to work with partners.

I find that if I read the chapter beforehand, her lectures make a little more sense. Even when I do, however, most of the things she says blends together. Its like reading a textbook with no headings, no punctuation, no pictures or figures. Very bland and monotone.

Dr. Pat is amazing. At first it can be hard to follow her, she is extremely smart. The students that don't do well in her class are the ones that don't pay attention, don't take notes, and/or don't go to class. A lot of the questions on her exams are from her lecture, NOT THE BOOK! I never read the book and I got and A.

Avoid her if you can; reads everything off of the powerpoints (that she doesn't even make, but then criticizes). Train of thought is unclear and most of what she says is unnecessary. Assignments and expectations are also unclear - seems to want to treat students like middle schoolers and is just irritating in general. Terrible teaching skills.

I thought Dr. Pat was a great professor! The class was dry at times but that's expected with a lot of information. She explains things very well and makes it easy to understand! She gives out pop quizzes for extra points on the exams. She even gives study guides WITH ANSWERS so basically if you study that and study notes you should do fine on exams

No one can say Dr. Pat isn't extremely knowledgable. However, her lectures are absolutely painful. They usually consist of her reading pp presentations verbatim, & she doesnt do a great job of uniting concepts with a greater theme, which makes it hard to study for tests. Tests, by the way, are very nit-picky. But she does offer extra cred

Lectures are power points that you can download and put notes directly into during lecture. Lectures are dry and sometimes painful, but the exams are multiple choice and straightforward. If you follow her study guide and use the website from the textbook and study the powerpoints you'll be fine. Bottome line: not exciting, but very predictable.

Amazing prof...very clear although she does go over the material a little fast. Everyone that complains about her probably only does so because they are an incompetent student not because she is an incompetent teacher.
