She is an incredibly hard grader; however, if you do your work, and actually dedicate time to her class, you will do fine. Those who gave her poor reviews most unlikely are unfamiliar wtih demanding coursework. I have found her to be very helpful and an overall excellent professor.

While funny, Dr. Snyder is one of the hardest professors. I've never had a problem taking tests before her class. Her tests are all essay and you have to complete it in a very limited time. You're scrambling to get the test done and still trying to remember everything you crammed into your head. She's a hard grader and isn't cooperative.

Rattled on about things not pertaining to the class. Was tasteless in her approach with students to the point of being cruel. Is not up to date with APA writing and critized other teachers for not grading like she did. Do not take her course if other courses are available

The people who give her negative comments are probably used to having a prof that doesn't like to challenge people. She WILL challenge you and yes, she is a hard grader. But college isn't made to be easy, she is hard but still reasonable. She rambles a bit but altogether knows her stuff and is one of the smartest profs I've ever met.
