i took her intro to logic class. she is a very nice lady and really wants you to do well and get a good grade. the problem is she is so disorganized and flustered. she never knows what she is talking about for certain. her notes were confusing and she really was not clear. if you need a PAR dont take her logic class. its boring too.

Extremely nice lady and very understanding. She really wants you to do well and loves having discussions. Unfortunately, her notes are all over the place! Also, I didn't really understand anything that was going on. It was very confusing and not what I had expected. Take this class if you really enjoy Philosophy.

The first two weeks of class we actually learned philosophy but then she would just come in and talk about random stuff. You don't need to go to this class often. You don't need to read. You have three papers and that's it. Easy grader too. If you just need the PAR credit, i would take it.

I along with my other classmates did not like this class and how it was taught. Turrisi is an extremely intelligent person, however, she can not communicate that to her students. I taught myself the whole semester and that is the only way I passed.

I was so nervous about taking this class b/c i do not understand philosophy AT ALL. But I I really liked Dr. Turrsi she was very nice and her class was not extremely boring. She asks the class what questions to put on the test. If you go to class you will get an A.

BOOOOOOORING!! I honestly felt like dying in this class. She's really scatter-brained. I took her over the summer, and I was just glad to get it over with. I could barely stand 1 month of classes, I couldn't imagine 4 months. I'm not much into Phil. so maybe I'm being biased, but my overall experience was not enjoyable. Good luck!!

She is a nice person, but she cannot teach. She is absent-minded and class has nothing to do with the material. Her directions and grading policy are unclear. Kind of a shame for such an interesting subject. If you want an easy class, take her, but be prepared to be bored out of your mind.
