Pat is a sweet and knowledgeable person. You can call her over any time and she'll help you with the program you're working on. She'll also keep track of missing assignments for you. Her notes may be a little confusing but you can still ask her to explain it to you. Overall, Robotics is a fun class and tests are easy :D

She is the person responsible for the abomination known as CS110. Once I was frustrated and went to talk to her it. She just countered everything with "it's up to students to learn...you can make your own schedule...blah blah.." Her class requires people to rely on the availability of TAs, lab times, and corrections, so nothing is independent.

If I wanted to take an independent study, I would have registered for one! Instructor helpful ONLY to select few. Thinks she knows more than she really does. I would prefer another instructor to teach this course, and then I'd take it again - maybe I'd actually learn something w/o the useless busy work !

Learned a good deal of information on my own (which is OK but made class sessions a complete waste of time). Teaches with a style from the 80s and 90s - busy work (I don't need to write everything down!!!) and extremely limited personality.

ehh - def. not my favorite class. Moves quickly, not caring if class understands, feel like you can't ask questions, LOTS of busy work, grades homework, group project annoying. Class has potential (material), just wish it was a different professor.

She tends to not pay attention to the time. (hence the above post) She is a very sweet lady but is extremely timid. She seems afraid of her students and this makes her less helpful. Tends to get frustrated easily with students who don't speak up in class.
