Great professor, very hard to come by someone who loves what they teach as much as she does. Come to class and listen, rewrite the notes even though they are sent by email, and youll pass easy. The lectures are very relatable so it wont be hard to be interested.

Great professor! She is truly passionate about her subject, knows how to teach and get the class engaged. If you cant pay attention in her class, college isnt for you. She is hilarious as well, and only has 3 quizzes throughout the course. She can be a tough grader, but I would without a question take her again. Highly recommend her!

Great professor! Shes super funny when telling stories about the material. Tests were very clear , study guide available. I recommend getting the book! But its not really needed. There wasnt a lot of homework given.. if you ask for help shell help you ASAP! Takes attendance at the beginning of every class so showwww up! I learned a lot!

All potential exam questions are listed in the syllabus, all powerpoints are sent via email, which are all you're tested on. All blue book exams, and she's looking for essentially her exact words from the powerpoints. Memorize the notes and it's an easy A. She takes attendance before every class, but she's funny so its a worthwhile class.

Dr. Yeaman does take attendance before every class. More than 2 absences will lower your grade and she will be less likely to help you. Course consists of three exams. All exam questions are in the syllabus. On the exams, its word for word what is in the notes. She is a tough grader but still fair. Would def. take her again

She's one of the best profs I've had at CCSU. Very fun and keeps lectures interesting. Grade's based on just a few exams but it's pretty easy to just review the notes and get at least a B. I never used the textbook. Would definitely take again!

Professor Yeaman is awesome, she makes class discussion very engaging. She has 3 exams and the syllabus provides all the possible questions that could be asked. The notes taken in class are the exact answers for the exam, no surprises here! She's fun and real. If she taught other courses I would be taking them!

This class was extremely fun to be a part of! Prof. Yeaman is such an amazing teacher! We need more teachers like her in schools! Her exams are literally 7-9 questions long, and she gives you all the answers through her notes! EASY A AND A FUN CLASS! TAKE THIS!

Makes it hard NOT to participate. Lectures are amazing and this course has by far been my favorite. You learn so much that you can actually apply to your own life, so it's worth much more than 3 credits. You should show up to every class but missing 1 or 2 won't hurt. If you're not a strong writer though, the exams may be tough. Overall 5/5!!

Dr. Yeaman's class is lecture-based, but she makes it so interesting and is hilarious. She does ask a lot of questions and gets the class to participate. Class time is spent going over info from her PowerPoints - she makes it fun though! If you go to class and take good notes, you should have no problem doing well. Would def take her again.

She Is a good professor. I learned a lot about marriage, family, and the dynamics of both. I would recommend that you take her class and she is funny. The grades for the class are based on tests. There is no homework or papers. Make sure you study because the tests are all essays.

Professor Yeaman is the best professor I have EVER had. If you get the opportunity to take her class TAKE IT because you will not regret it! She is super engaging and I genuinely enjoyed her lectures. Answer the study guide questions from your notes before each exam and you will pass with an A!

This was honestly was my favorite class at Central. She is so engaging and passionate about the topic. There are only three written exams, but she gives you the answers and the questions that are on the exam. She just expects you to write/remember what the notes say. Don't need to book at all for the class. Very interesting material!

One of the best classes I've ever taken, mostly because of this professor. She's hilarious and makes the class really enjoyable. I never wanted to miss or leave her class early because she always makes its interesting. The only grades are the exams, and she tells you exactly what questions are on it! Super easy if you just take down all the notes.

If you want to take good notes get to class super early so you can sit in the front because you can't take pictures of the board. You don't have to participate and there's no homework. Also, the book isn't required so the class overall wasn't bad but I felt like the teacher was just a little too much for me. OH! And study hard for her exams.

Best professor I've had at CCSU for sure. She gives very engaging lectures and makes the topics relatable to the students. Participation isn't mandatory but she provides numerous opportunities to do so. There are 3 exams and no homework. Provides study guides with exact questions from exams but can still be challenging if you don't study well.

Very nice lady. This class doesn't go deep into sociological discourse, but it is lighthearted and Yeaman makes it enjoyable and entertaining. Your grade is comprised from Bluebook essays, make sure you understand the concepts that she tells you will be on the exams!
