Professor Corbett knows his stuff, plain and simple. Yes, he makes you stand and brief cases, yes he will interrupt you and badger you with questions, but this is law school. You should be volunteering to brief cases rather than waiting on him to call on you. He's a tough grader, but a great prof

One of my favorite professors EVER! Professor Corbett is consistent, respectful, and so crazy smart. He knows his stuff and while he certainly won't accept anything less than the best out of his students, he is a genuinely nice guy with a big heart. Pretty cute in an adorable, nerdy way, too.

He uses a strict form of the law school version of the Socratic Method, teaches his students every element of the crimes/defenses in criminal law, holds "Q & A sessions" after each class and answers questions submitted to him by e-mail. If you study hard, and pay attention in class, his Final will be a pleasure to take.

very tough in recistation, tuff grader, but a very nice guy. i really knew my stuff, but didnt do nearly as well as i should have. most ppl i knew were disappointed in their grades, but he did give several As..mostly Cs tho. he gets grades back to u quickly & puts a lot of effort into teaching the class. make damn sure u read 4 his class.

Hard prof. Will make you learn it via socratic method. But does not embarrass you. Volunteer for case so you know you're up. He is willing to work with you to make you learn it. Hard exam...average grades was B-. Study, study, study and you can get an A-. Review his slides early and it will help a lot. Will give a clue(i.e. no dead guy) before exam

Very Tough Class!! I studied my tail off and went to every review session. I thought I knew everything backwards and forwards...but putting it together cohesively is my weakest point and that's what ultimately killed me on the final. Do all of his practice essays and read his model points.

Uses true Socratic Method, and will nail you to the wall if you are not prepared. Tough grader, but a highly professional prof. If you like Crim Law then this guy will be a welcome challenge, if not you will find him and his class very boring. Anyone considering being a crim prosecutor should look into his classes

true socratic method. will question you until you get what he wants you to. makes you think on your own and will tell you when you're wrong; he won't "coddle" you. make sure that you have done the reading and completely understand it; it will make your briefing that much easier, wil determine if you brief for 10 or 40 min. great Prof. i recommend

He is a touch grader but fair. Take notes of everything he says in class. It's likely important. It is helpful to REALLY know the material and then the information is not bad at all. :) His test was fair and he's a great teacher. I would definitely take him again for this class.

good students beware, this prof can kill GPAs. He has little man syndrome I had almost all A's and A-'s and with him I got a C. His essays are impossible. unless you can read his mind you are screwed. best advice is to study tons of MC b/c the essay is impossible. Thank god I transferred out before I got my grade back. worst prof of my life

Great prof - tons of enthusiasm, he really makes the class interesting. The textbook he uses is awesome, written by a Cooley prof. He is very demanding when it comes to briefing cases but never demeaning - be prepared is all. His final is tricky though and pretty tough!!

Great prof. "Tough guy" attitude in the beginning, but excellent overall. Study ALL his past tests and ask him about other profs from which to study. Know 4th, 5th, and 6th amendments inside and out
