The worst professor I've ever had. He doesn't care about the students at all and is a really tough grader. He failed half of the class. He ruined my GPA.

Brother Pat is the single greatest literature instructor I've ever had. His passion for the subject is truly contagious, and his lectures and discussions are very thought-provoking. He is a tough grader, but certainly a fair one; you get out what you put in to this course. I would recommend anyone that is taking ENGL 150 take it with him.

Took roots literature with him. Very tough grader but a great man. Makes you work for it. Not an easy A. He is a great lecturer. Really enjoyed the class.

His test are very difficult. The entire class is reading and discussion based, but he tends to focus on insignificant things. He grades VERY hard, I would not recommend taking his class ever.

Brother Horner was one of my favorite professors. You will need to get all of the books he asks of you, as you read and are tested on it all. Also do read the Cunningham work he assigns to get a good grade on the midterm and final. Brother Horner is a great man who really cares for both the subject and his students.

He's a really nice guy, but his class demands a lot more work than it really requires. Just become his friend outside the class room, do your work and show steady improvement from the beginning of the semester until the end. He gave me an A, and very few of my test results were A's

He is such a fun teacher, very animated, but the class itself is difficult. You basically have to do all the readings to do well on the tests, but you can BS the papers and stuff with sparknotes. The tests are just a little too ridiculous though...

This may have been the worst class I've ever taken in my life and trust me I have taken bad classes. He goes on and on talking about information that would not help you on your exam. No study guides, no review. if you can do NOT take this class!!!

He is basically a very animated cute little old man. Surprisingly he took a very boring subject and made class interesting. Unfortunately, he's a very tough grader. weekly log writings, 3 microthemes, 1 paper, midterm/final, 1 museum visit/essay. You must read every night and actually try on all of the writings.

He's very passionate about his work. You must read in order to discuss the material. The lecture is about the reading from the night before. He has two test, which are the midterm and final. They're way too specific. This class is "okay."

Very hard class. TOns of reading and all class is talkig about the reading. Doesn't review before exams and doesny give out any review sheets. The tests were on the hardest, most detailed things. Not a good teacher.

On the upside, his energy level is always on the UPSIDE, which is somewhat entertaining on days that you really don't want to read Homer, Aristotle, or Virgil. The pitfall: you are expected to read every page he assigns (on average, 30+ a night). You are supposed to discuss everything the next class. Midterm and Final = prepare to fail.

This was the most difficult 100 level class. You are expected to read a ridiculous amount of material in very little time and forced to do work that is never reviewed or corrected in class. HE DOES NOT GIVE STUDY GUIDES. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Worst class ever. Run the other way before taking his class.

Awesome professor. Really passionate about what he teaches, he respects all comments students in his class say. Not an easy A. Not a hard class, but it is hard to get A's on his microthemes.

Is extremely energetic and gets into the readings almost too much. The readings you do are ancient. He's a tough grader. Good guy, but not everyone's favorite. He makes the topics interesting. I wouldn't take him if your looking to get a good grade or do no work.

awesome teacher. so nice and so smart. he makes reading the hardest books very enjoyable. the class time always flies by. he's not an easy grader, so don't think you can pass just by sitting in the class, and make sure you've done the reading assigned. overall one of the best professors i've had, i'd love to be able to have another class with him
