Loves to hear himself talk and thinks you do too. Goes in to incredibly off topic stories mostly involving his personal life and bragging about how much he knows. If you do the homework and know it then you'll do fine on the tests.

I love Dr. McCaskey! Yes he talks about his life and his family but it is because he has had a lot of experience traveling the world and in the field of marketing and advertising. He knows what he is talking about and he cares about his classes and students. Study from the book and you will do fine

Test are hard and focused on details. Tests are based off the book, lectures don't really cover test. (Too much information to try and determine what you should be focusing on; time better spent studying book than his lectures) He is friendly, and will help you outside of class. Gets distracted easily. Only take if you love advertising.

What a joke, this class was consumer behavior. His tests are all out of the book, and he takes attendance so people come and listen to him bragging about himeself as well as talk about hit family. The slide shows are pointless when the book is what he tests on. overall terrible class, learned more about his family than material and test are hard

He seems to enjoy teaching - but i have to question his credibility since his only examples are of his family which in some extraordinary way ties them into the textbooks agenda. Most of his stories and examples are erroneous and I think he lost touch with the actual marketing world since his Resume has MU written all over it.

Professor McCaskey is an incredibly intelligent teacher. The class was easy, fun and interesting. He tells a lot of stories that can be related directly to the subject matter. He also has a bad habit of digressing into stories that are irrelevant, but besides that his style is effective. He also really needs to work on his active listening skills

He is great prof at MU, very demanding but helpful. I get much of marketing knowledge from him. I'm now interested more in marketing bcz of him. Highly recommend taking his class if u dont care about grade. It's worth!

His marketing class was horrible. It was a 101 of McCaskey's life, and he would pick random bits of information out of the book to put on his quizzes. He also never gave us any idea on how to do our large project in the class and assumed we knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Very Frustrating!!

Dr. M teaches the Small Business Seminar. The seminar is set up that you and a small group do real consulting work for a small local business. It is kinda cool that you work with a real client and business if you like that kind of thing, like meeting new ppl, etc. But Dr. M is unhelpful w/ the project bc his head is in the sky & talks about himself

McCaskey is a great professor. I find many of his stories relevant and helpful in remembering the marketing concepts and ideas we discuss in class. He is approachable and encourages class discussion. He is well organized and even provided real world speakers to make this particular elective (graduate-level) even more worthwhile. A+.

I read other people's comments about him talking about himself all the time and didn't think it would be THAT bad. But believe me, it is that bad. Had him for a night class. he talked about himself for 3 hours. I don't think he realizes that we really don't care about his personal life. Apparently his entire life relates to marketing.

McCaskey is without a doubt, one of the worst professors at MU. He grades based on his own opinion, so make sure you are liberal. Not to mention his personal stories, which made me want to die. Avoid this man if you'd like to keep your GPA and your sanity, especially your senior year.

He talks too much about Emma, his cat, and family life. This was first class I dropped because he tests were impossible to pass. He actually has hhis daughter help him grade the tests, which are mutiplt choice. He is funny, but a hard ass when it comes to tests. Beware!!!

Did you know his dad played hermonica in front of millions of people? He also has a folk ablum that the cover photo looks like he is staring at the invasion of earth. Guy is a joke and his tests were not easy because they were on 11 chapters at a time. group project makes or breaks your grade. Take the other guy who teachs advertising.
