Is the worst professor I have ever had. Doesn't go over exam, what's on the exam we never went over in class. Talks about nonsense, the class is boring. Whoever gave him these high ratings are so wrong. Everyone in class didn't get anything higher than a B. Doesn't have any structure. Stay as far away from this professor as you can. DO NOT AKE HIM!

Very, very boring individual...there is no discussion in the class and he thinks he is funny...Like before mentioned he is very one sided and his tests are open book...but not an easy class due to bad wording with tests and daily quizes. In the essays he will pick you apart. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER TAKING THIS TEACHER...EVER!!!

I do not recommend taking this class if you want to learn. He knows the info but has no communicative skills what so ever. I was offended by some of his comments and so were others. If you want an easy grade: take it, two essays, two exams, daily quizes: open book.

Very very nice teacher. Although class put me to sleep frequently I learned a lot through the text and enjoyed being in a class where the teacher actually care. It was a dry topic anyway!! 2 papers, 2 tests, daily reading quizzes, all straight forward and easy if you do the reading. Barely studied and tests are awesome!

Genuinely good guy. Certainly a liberal, but as a conservative, never felt at all like he was trying to indoctrinate anyone, and certainly was willing to listen to all points of view. Also, if you are a military member he is a vet, and really seems to have a soft spot for military or former military, and will help you out any way he can.

If you attend to learn the material (rather than to amuse yourself) you will not be disappointed. Not terribly dynamic, but very interesting and substantive. Nam vets are seldom true friends of Yeltsin; he understands the broader issues and the subject matter and can communicate it if you dig.

A great guy who knows his stuff but a bad professor. he just talk and drones on and is very boring. doesn't encourage class participation...maybe it was just the course I took with him. tests were fairly easy, multiple choice and matching and an easy grader on the small writing assignments we did.
