The course pack is 500+ page course pack is full of extremely convoluted vocabulary, which is there to confuse you and waste your time. The endless hours you'll spend preparing for his 3-hour monster of midterm will be mostly spent deciphering literary puzzles. Tl;dr He is the kind of person to put "utilize" instead of "use"

Prof completely uninterested in teaching the course; taking occasional week long breaks with a substitute profs/TAs filling in. The book (written by him of course) is riddled with long, snobby, out of place words which is infuriating and the reason why I'm writing this review. gl;hf

completely disregards the fact that he's teaching 20 year olds who have no previous experience with soil mechanics. the course starts all fruity talking about the leaning tower of pisa and the next thing you know you're using laplace's equation to find the hydraulic capacities of a soil and uses pde's in class when cive student dont even take pde's

Disappointing professor. Tough to come to understand you've paid tuition for a teacher like this. I hope if Civil Engineering is serious at improving their program they have some good teachers for students.

In response to: "He has a good teaching technique". --- How the hell is that?? He reads from slides! He takes a potentially interesting topic but interest is futile - he drains my life from me during his lectures. & he leaves stuff out of his notes so people will go to class and fill it in. Everyone misses it anyways cause were asleep. Hes a prick.
