I have taken classes with Dr. Watkins for three different semesters and she is currently my advisor for my senior paper. I absolutely recommend her classes to any incoming journalism students or journalism underclassmen. She is thoughtful, kind and an all around wonderful teacher who is great at facilitating conversation and inspiring learning.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. This woman is amazing and is an endless wealth of knowledge. She cares about each and every one one of her students and actually listens to them. You absolutely have to take one of her classes as a Journalism student at the UofA. I've had her for Ethics in Jour., Community Jour., and Magazine Edit/Prod.

THE BEST TEACHER EVER THAT I HAVE HAD HANDS DOWN. THIS LADY IS AMAZING AND SHE REALLY LISTENS AND ACTUALLY CARES WHAT HER STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY AND THINK-CRAZY CONCEPT HUH?!? SHE MAKES PARTICIPATING IN CLASS DISCUSIONS FUN AND ENCOURAGES YOU TO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE TOPICS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. THE BEST TEACHER AT THE UA.
