Dr. D'Andrea was one of the best professors during both of my degree programs. She is exceptionally skillful at both research and teaching, and she is extremely helpful. She made me passionate about statistics! I admire her so much as a professional. She is expert at her subject, and she scaffolds in such a way that students can be one, too!

WARNING: this is not an introductory class but more inttermediate. You need to put in 10 hours a week outside of class to get a B. Multiple choice questions on tests are poorly constructed and can be ambiguous. Does not listen to students requests. Students get no credit for homework and in class participation. poor teaching skills.

She takes a class that normally scares students and makes it understandable. She is hard but VERY fair and is always willing to help outside of class. She loves the subject and she can get any student to understand it.

Dr. D'Andrea is an incredible person. She knows her topic and seeks to make it understandable to her class. She emphasises concept, so computers are not used in stats. Extremely ethical and very humorous. Takes a fair amount of work but well worth it. She wants her students to succeed. Concept test questions are sometimes abstract.

If you have to take a statistics or research class, this is the Prof to take it from. Dr. D'Andrea has a sense of humor, is very intelligent, and wants her students to learn. She uses real life examples and situations to help students see both professional and practical uses of stats/research.
