Not very good. Nice guy, but answers your questions with an unrelated question, which is not helpful. Left for Africa with misguided instruction then gave us a test immediately when he got back, no prep for us. Talks more about himself and his test and lectures have too much of his opinion in them to be educational.

I hated him and his class. He is never helpful, everyone e-mails him constantly and he NEVER responds. His exams are essay, and ridiculous. He give you no material to study from, and there is no textbook. There are obnoxiously long assignments for very little credit. No one passed his exams. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

He is a nice and very inteligent guy but he is a horibble teacher! He uses the big words and his power point is useless! You will have to read a lot for his classes, exams are hard.

Facinating class. I learned a lot, but had an incredibly hard time doing so. Go to office hours or talk to him after class - he's WAY clearer and more helpful then. Get his review of any papers you turn in BEFORE you do so. Start everything early cause you're COMPLETLY on your own (no reminder of due dates). Hope you have good classma

Acts like a teen-ager road testing burn-outs with dad's car as it relates to his Phd. His vocabulary may be appropriate for Master's level classes but talks over most students heads. Way too much reading. Count on 3-5 ch's a week plus technical journals.
