Patti was an inspiration for me. She gave me direction when I had none and she pushed me to push myself. If you aren't a mature adult going to college then you wouldn't like her and she wouldn't like you either.

I personally learned so much from Patti. She was a very difficult grader, but I felt that really motivated me to learn the material. She could be a bit in your face but on the whole, I found her extremely helpful and a great professor.

I know I'm alone here, but I liked her. I only took French 1 with her, so maybe that's the difference. She makes her students work hard to keep up with the material. You need to be on your toes every single day.

She never teaches the material you're expected to know. She berrates students in the middle of class and separates everyone into tiers of those who she favors. She makes students' progress public knowledge and creates a hostile environment.

She cut 10 people the first day, has an awful accent, and we NEVER covered test material in class (but she expected that we learn the material anyway.) She yelled at students in class for failing to complete work due to circumstances beyond their control.
