She requires in class performances that you need to participate in otherwise you won't pass, but if you do show up and participate it's definitely an easy A. Overall Patty was a wonderful professor who took the time to learn everybody's name in a large class. She made everyone feel like they were good enough and she created a safe environment.

Patty is an inspirational teacher. Even non-majors love the life lessons they learn from her acting classes. She still performs, so she's not all theory and can provide incredible feedback!

Show up and you get an A, but be prepared to step outside of your comfort zone. On another note, don't expect that just because you have a lot of acting experience means that she doesn't have anything to teach you. She has a lot of great knowledge that will really help all levels of experience.

Don't take this class if you aren't ready to make a fool of yourself. She makes you walk around and be silly a lot. If you show up and put effort into the class, you'll get an A. Not that hard, no papers to write, one reading, a monologue, and a scene memorised.

Patty is AMAZING! I was new to the school when I first came to her class and was a little intimidated. She made it a point to have everyone know everyone. Her wonderful, bubbly personality just makes your day. The class got a little boring at times and could drag on for what seemed like forever. no homework, no tests, just good times :)

Indonesian Dance was a great class, and Patty is just so darn adorable you can't not love her. The dance is really hard (and a great work-out), but Patty was so encouraging and nice that it didn't matter. She just wanted us to understand the culture and concepts more than know the choreography perfectly. She is a great teacher - highly recommended!

One of the best teachers i've ever had. Very enthusiastic and engaging even with the large class size. Knows everyones name in about 2 or 3 class periods. Very good at giving helpful feedback. Hilarious. I cant reccomend this class more.

I started out taking this class as a fun GE class. It ended up being one of the best classes and an experience I will never forget. She memorized everyones name by the 2nd or 3rd lecture with 150+ people, I for one was amazed. She pushes you to your full potential and really wants you to succeed. Sections were awesome, never miss a class.
