Prof. Cienniwa is very clear about his expectations for the class. The grading criteria are very clearly laid out and he gives you all the tools you will need to do well in the class. He is very responsive to questions. The material is very interesting, even for someone like me who was taking it as an elective.

I enjoyed this class a lot. It wasn't an easy A, but could be if you had the time to spend. It was cool when visiting the classical section in Boarders to reconize the music and composers.

Took his online course. The lectures he gives you online are informative and have all the answers that you will need for all the tests. He's one of the very few instructors that will get back to you if you have discrepancy on a test. Take the class. I found him to be extremely fair with a good sense of humor!

I just wanted to say that though I dropped his class early on, he was very helpful and nice. He tried to convince me to remain in the class but I just had too much going on. Oh, and I gave him a "hot" since my class was online I imagined him to look great, just as his personality seemed.

This class was very difficult. I did find that after a while everything sounded the same :) BUT! As far as the professor, I found him to be fair and flexible. He gave more than enough time to complete assignments and exams. I think that the class was not in my interest, but the Professor was great!

Tough class. If you don't have to take it, don't! Lots of work and really kept me busy. There are many easier ways to get an A! Software program is expensive and annoying...wouldn't recommend!

I took music theory as an online course. Not sure how they justify paying this prof's salary. Course website does all the work. Seems like the only thing he does is enter the final grades in at the end. With that said, very easy to get an A, but...its a lot of work in five weeks, mostly busy work, yet a LOT of work. Make sure you don't fall behind.

guys acts like a d*ck sometimes, for example, he doesn't allow people to wear hats in class. but, its an easy enough class. i don't know if he usually takes attendance, but since my class had over 100 kids he didn't for me. i skipped the entire last month and still managed an A-. good grade padding class

teacher sucks hardcore...i did the online class and had a technical problem and missed one assignment the whole semester, did really well on quizzes and mid term/finals...got a C....I dont recommend taking a class with this professor!

this past semster he changed the syllabus halfway through the semester because he though that people werent getting it. i thnk this shows flexibilty & an intrestt in teaching the students. (i wish that other profs would change when they see that what theyre doing doesnt work!) at least prof c cares!

I attended every class, studied my hardest, and what did I get? F!!! He doesn't seem to care how hard you try, if you don't get it right, you don't pass. His tests are so damn difficult--unless you're one of those students who are great at taking tests, avoid this guy like the plague.

WOW! he was one of the worst teachers I have every had. So rude, not funny, hates everyone!! I will never take him every again. I studied and never missed a class. I had an A and then all of a sudden he gave me a B! He wants everyone to do bad!!

This class was OK. The professor does not like students who show up late or wear hats. The class was kind of easy as long as you are willing to put in some time studying. He gives extra credit assignments for a chance to raise your grade. I would probably take him again.

He sucked, he sucked, he sucked. Humiliates students, not funny whatsoever. Horrible jokes, and profiles you by how you look. Gives ridiculous spiels on wearing hats and how disrespectful it is. Is not up for any kind of debate and is totally boring in his lectures. Magic Flute was good though.

I love this class, he is so smart and amusing, I learn a lot. His tests are average, work load is not much but if you're respectfull and interested in learning you' won't have any problems. I feel like if he taught even my least favorite subject I would still be interested just because it's him.
