Professor Cohen made difficult subject easy for me. Lots of work, and you have to do it all, and if you do everything he assigns, you will get an A! Do NOT plan to take more than 1 class along with CHEM. Good Luck!

Prof Cohen is very kind, but strict.do not miss any lecture, he explains his own tricks how to solve the problems and you will never find that in the book or internet. All his tests are hard, very long and tricky. You have to work really hard. However he curves, 88 is A, but its difficult to get over 80 on his tests. He can make easy problem tough

Prof. Cohen teaches well but his exams are pretty difficult but fair. There isn't much point in practicing problems in the textbook because he makes up his own exams, so study his old exams that he will hand out in class. He will always try to give you the best grade possible at the end of the semester possibly better than what you deserve.

He is very well dressed, his lectures are very interesting, but if you are not excellent in Chem do not take him, his tests are a killer and way too long... He does a lot of reference like "If you are good in calculus, you will understand what I mean..." and if you are not, too bad for you.

He explains concepts very well, and his tests are very easy, IF you show up for lecture. He legitimately tries to pass all students, even those who really should fail. The only criticism I have is that his stories and jokes can get rather off topic.

Great guy and great teacher as well. He really knows how to explain things and i think his jokes are awesome they lighten up the mood. His tests are fair, very few tricky questions but the tricky ones really solidify your undeerstanding of the material. I recommend taking him.

Class started with 46 students, ended with 15 students. 4A's 3B's 6C's 2F. A students all took AP-Chem during high school. If you don't like Chem or never taken AP-Chem, you will be better off not to have this Professor.Overall he is not great teacher from my exprience. He is not willing to teach students who don't have much knowledge about Chem.
